19th Century Mahogany Desk
An early 19th century mahogany desk standing on a plinth base. The twin pedestal desk has four graduated drawers to each pedestal. The top having central drawers. All drawers are fitted with wood-knob handles, locks but no key. The top is fitted with a new hazel leather insert with tooling.
19th Century Walnut Jewellery Box
A jewellery box / writing slope decorated with ebony and satinwood inlay, fitted with a lock but no key. Showing a slight burn mark to the top. The interior with a padded lift out top to reveal a pen box with two side boxes. The box then opens to a tooled writing slope, with the top section lifting out for various storage.
Gillows Writing Table
A late 19th Century Gillows writing table standing on ringed, tapered legs. The table has had a new brown hide and is fitted with two drawers to one long side. Providence: “Was removed from Lancaster Town Hall”
